CLASS INFORMATION:
LEAD LINE CLASS
– $300 ($270 if paid prior to start date )
This 6 week session has a maximum of 6 students per class and includes 1.5 hours of training and instruction: 1/2 hour for grooming and tack up, ½ hour ride, ½ hour for untacking.
In this class, the primary goal is to have students to feel comfortable and learn to how to safely be with horses. A parent or trusted adult is expected to participate with the child in each lesson. Prior to riding, both adult and rider will learn to about basic riding equipment and how to safely approach and handle horses.  Riders will learn how to safely mount a horse and sit balanced in the saddle. While the adult leads the horse on a lead line, students will learn to and steer, walk, trot and halt the horse then when ready, progress to walk and halt the horse on their own.
INTRODUCTION TO HORSEMANSHIP
– $300 ($270 if paid prior to start date)
This 6 week session has a maximum of 6 students per class and includes 2 hours of training and instruction: 1/2 hour for tack up, 1 hour ride, ½ hour for untacking.  Students learn the fundamentals of safety and handling around horses on the ground while learning the basic seat, hand control and aids used in horseback riding in the saddle. To participate in this class, Riders must be to be able to control and steer the horse independently at the walk. This session will build the skills necessary towards control at the  trot.
NOVICE RIDER
– $350 ($300 if paid prior to start date)
This 6 week session has a maximum of 5 students per class and includes 2 hours of training and instruction: 1/2 hour for tack up, 1 hour ride, ½ hour for untacking.  Riders continue to practice their horsemanship skills and begin catching, grooming and tacking the horse independently with supervision. Riders learn about an independent seat and hands and will display their skills at the walk and trot with control and steering. Posting on the diagonals will be taught and the canter introduced.
To be eligible for the Novice rider program, you must have acquired the skills of the Intro to Horseback riding course, or alternatively, have an assessment lesson by our head instructor to see if this level will suit your needs.
INTERMEDIATE RIDER
– $500 ($450 if paid prior to start date)
10 week session (Max 4 riders per class) 2 hours (1/2 hour to tack up/1 hr ride/ ½ to untack)
Students are now able to catch, groom and tack their horses independently and display controlled steering and balance while posting the trot on the correct diagonal. Riders continue to work on communicating clear aids to their equine partner while learning how to execute turns and circles at the canter. To graduate from this level, students will be able to canter on the correct lead and demonstrate effective steering and transitions at the walk, trot and canter gaits.  To be eligible for the Intermediate rider program, you must have acquired the skills required in the Novice Rider program. Alternatively, an assessment lesson can be taken with our head instructor to see if this level will best suit your needs.
HORSEBACK RIDING FOR HOMESCHOOLERS & EARLY DISMISSAL CLASS
– $300 ($270 if paid prior to start date)
This 6 week session has a maximum of 6 students per class and includes 2 hours of training and instruction: 1/2 hour for tack up, 1 hour ride, ½ hour for untacking.  Students learn the fundamentals of safety and handling around horses on the ground while learning the basic seat, hand control and aids used in horseback riding in the saddle. To participate in this class, Riders must be to be able to control and steer the horse independently at the walk. This session will build the skills necessary towards control at the trot.
INTRODUCTION TO JUMPING
-$350 ($300 if paid prior to start date)
6 week session (Max 4 riders per class) 2 hours (1/2 hour to tack up/1 hr ride/ ½ to untack)
Riders will learn the fundamentals of Jumping – 2 point, trotting over poles and finishing with low cross rails. To participate in this group, riders must show control of their horse in a group at the walk, trot, and canter and also be able to ride simple patterns at each gait. To be in this group – you must have been in the Intermediate rider program and acquired all the skills needed to achieve that level.
Alternatively – you must be assessed by the Jumping instructor to see if you are ready to start jumping. $300 (If paid prior to the start of the session – $350 if paid after the start date).
JUMP LEVEL 1
-$500 ($450 if paid prior to start date)
10 week session (Max 4 riders per group) 2 hours (1/2 hour tack up/ 1 hr ride/ ½ hr untack)
Riders will trot small x-rail courses and start to canter individual fences working on a controlled rhythm and organization on course. Fences to a maximum of 18”. To be in this level – you must have taken the Introduction to jumping course, or alternatively, take an assessment lesson with our jumping instructor to see if this level is the right fit for you.
JUMP LEVEL 2
-$500 ($450 if paid prior to start date)
10 week session (Max 4 riders per group) 2 hours (1/2 hr tack up/ 1hr ride/ ½ hr untack)
Riders will trot x-rails and low vertical courses. Cantering the combination of 2 or more fences will be required. Riders will start to develop an eye for their distances, and continue to work on establishing a controlled rhythm and organization on course. Fences from 2’0 to 2’3. To be in this level – you must have taken the Jumping Level 1 course, or alternatively, take an assessment lesson with our jumping instructor to see if this level is the right fit for you.
JUMP LEVEL 3
-$500 ($450 if paid prior to start date)
10 week session (Max 3 riders per group) 2 hours (1/2 hr tack/ 1 hr ride/ ½ hr untack)
Riders will begin to canter full courses of verticals and oxers will be introduced.  Grid work will also be introduced. Fences 2’3-2’6. To be in this level – you must have taken the Jumping Level 2 course or have taken assessment lesson with our jumping instructor to see if this level is the right fit for you. $500 (If paid at the start of the session – $550 if paid after the start date).
JUMP LEVEL 4
10 week session (Max 3 riders per group) 2 hours (1/2 hr tack/ 1 hr ride/ ½ hr untack)
LIMITED SPACE! At this level we do recommend leasing or owning your own horse. We do have a couple of horses that we will utilize at this level in the lesson program – but they will only be used at this height once per week. Fences 2’6-2’9. Occasional 3’ fence. Riders will be able to canter full courses in an organized and controlled manner. Grid work will happen on a consistent basis.
To be in this level – you must have taken the Jumping Level 3 course or have taken an assessment lesson with our jumping instructor to see if this level is the right fit for you. $550 (If paid at the start of the session – $600 if paid after the start date)
** Please note that you are allowed one makeup lesson per session if 24 hours cancellation notice is given. All make up lessons must be completed during the lesson session.

PRIVATE LESSONS
Private flat/dressage, Jumping, and western lessons are available on request. To
take a private lesson – you must be able to catch, tack and untack your horse.
Private (1 rider): 30 min $55
Private (1 rider): 45 min $70
Semi-private (2 riders): 45 min $60
** 10% discount given for 10 week session

HORSE OWNERS & LEASERS – Lesson Rates
For those students that provide their own horse, we offer the following rates:
Private (1 rider): 30 min $35
Private (1 rider): 45 min $50
Semi-private (2 riders): 45 min $40
Group (3+ riders): 1 hour $30
Haul In fee (for riders coming off property) $15/ride
